RYAN BRANDEBURGManaging Director, NZRyan has been involved with IOG since 2015 and has been a board member and director since 2017. He holds both a governance role on the board of IOG’s global business, and specifically oversees IOG’s operations in New Zealand.
A PGA of America member since 2001, Ryan holds a business marketing degree with a specialisation in Professional Golf Management from Coastal Carolina University.
His background includes a variety of roles at resort and private golf clubs, as well as significant time spent with one of the world’s largest private equity firms, The Blackstone Group. He was recruited in 2009 to serve as director of golf for Kauri Cliffs and Cape Kidnappers, both located on New Zealand’s North Island and ranked among the top 50 in the world. In 2014, he formed a consulting company that services a variety of clients around the world including delivering the New Zealand government’s golf tourism strategy.
Ryan is most impressed with IOG’s commitment to staff development and training alongside a strong desire from our coaching and support teams to improve our players faster than anyone else in the market.

Catherine SuGrowth ManagerCatherine has been working as IOG’s Growth Manager since December 2017 following joining the team as their Social Media Manager.

SHARON COLLINSONGeneral ManagerSharon began working at IOG in March 2018, she enjoys the diversity of the role at IOG and working in a team environment.
Sharon has worked in the Golf Industry in New Zealand for over 6 years. She began her career in Golf as the Assistant to the General Manager at Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club, Wellington. She had this role for over 4 years until a move with her family brought her up to Auckland in 2017.
She moved into the role of Accountant at Tara iti Golf Club, Managwhai, until the opportunity to work closer to home and for IOG arose. She has brought with her a wealth of knowledge from the high end day to day operations and finance from my previous roles in the industry. She enjoys using this knowledge to work as part of the team here at IOG as the company moves from strength to strength.
